Not much help for those of us with a paper subscription. Too bad.

I am sad to report that this great magazine does not see it fit to make the iPad content available to their print subscribers; rather than reward they choose to punish by not allowing us access! Fellow print subscribers let your displeasure be known on this forum!

So those who are true fans, and have been print subscribers are punished. These are the types of magazines that will go out of business.

In todays day of electronic media, cant believe publishers punish us print subscribers who would like to have the option of deciding how we read.

I have been a print subscriber for many years. How about access for us, or at least a bundle option like the Wall Street Journal.

Ive been a print subscriber for years. I guess I dont get access to a digital copy? I guess thats my thank you. Dont waste your time downloading - you wont be rewarded with access. One star for finally making a feeble effort to go digital.

Print subscriptions may be going the way of the dinosaur but how about giving them access to the digital version?!?

Okay, Men’s Journal (and Wenner Media in general): I’ve already paid you for a subscription to the print edition. So I see that you have a “digital edition” — apparently just scanned images of the pages I already bought from you. I’m willing to download your app, and start viewing the pages on my iPad, which saves you money. So why would you expect me to pay a second time for the same exact content that I’ve already bought from you once? If your business is built around mailing printed pages around the country, you should think about making a serious effort to transition your existing subscribers to digital. This app, with its ridiculous “pay twice” policy, isn’t it.

Thanks for hosing your print subscribers with no access. Ill remember this when my renewal notice comes this year.

Once my print subscription runs out you will be losing me as a customer. Its a shame you ask your customers to pay twice for the same content. Goodby Mens Journal!

I cant imagine what the marketing geniuses at Wenner are thinking, not including access to the iPad site for print subscribers. I love this magazine, but they obviously dont respect their readers.

But Im not going to buy a second subscription on top of my print version. Ive been a subscriber for years. Too bad they dont want to please a repeat customer.

Beware. Should have read the other reviews. Bought in-app a 1 yr, have my itunes paid receipt but no issues were available to download in the app. All showed price as if I didnt buy a subscription. (Yes I restored purchases, exited and reentered, and even deleted and re added to newstand). Went to App Support...none, page no longer works.

If your already have a print subscription, as so many have already shared, digital access should not have an addition cost. Terrible model.

Thank you but no thank you. I dont think its fair to charge your print subscribers for a digital version of the same magazine. I WILL NOT RENEW my subscription. You lost a customer. I hope your advertisers see all the unhappy customers you have and stop buying ads on your magazine.

I agree with all of other reviews. Wish I had read them before I wasted my money. Ridiculous that I bought a year print subscription and I do not have access to the iPad edition. I will be canceling my subscription and you will get $0 from me. I recommend that everyone buy a subscription to Mens Health instead. They definitely care more about their subscribers and allow free iPad access with their print subscription.

Am a print subscriber… don’t understand why companies like this want to rip us off. Will now cancel my print subscription, delete this app and head over to Mens Health.

Adding my voice to others, its a shame to be asked to pay for the content twice.

I am a big fan of the content. I have liked this magazine for years. I am not fully sold on the e version yet but keep trying. i miss the print in hand feel but not willing to pay twice.

Awesome format that in many ways make the traditional magazine obsolete. I really enjoy having all issues in one place, taking up no space .
